Nick

Nick Treadaway

FOUNDING PARTNER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Nick founded Soller Group in 2014 following a 10-year career in a Chartered Surveying practice where he was one of the youngest Partners ever appointed by the firm. In this capacity, he advised investors on assorted UK development and investment projects

 

Under Nick’s guidance, Soller has successfully raised real estate equity and debt (senior and mezzanine) for both development and investment assets.  He has obtained planning consents for a variety of assets and appointed/managed full project teams through to project delivery

Sam

Sam Jahanshahi

PARTNER & HEAD OF CAPITAL MARKETS

Sam has over 15 years experience in real estate, including 10 years as an investment banker delivering the full suite of investment banking products to institutional clients in the UK and European commercial real estate space

His transactional experience includes initial public equity offerings, follow-ons, M&A, investment grade and high yield debt placements

He also has experience on the real estate equity investment side having worked in the capital markets team for a UK-domiciled multi-billion pound family office

Matt

Matt Webster

PARTNER & CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER

Matt’s experience includes 7 years as the Global Head of Real Estate Finance at HSBC, overseeing $100+bn of the Bank’s global commercial real estate exposure

He has 30+ years of commercial real estate and alternative asset expertise across: balance sheet and capital markets funding; senior, mezzanine and equity finance; NPL management, acquisition and disposal; advisory; and asset management

​

He has worked on transactions ranging from $250k to $10+bn at institutions including HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Hypo Real Estate and FitchRatings

James Palmer

PARTNER & PRESIDENT

James was previously the Head of Institutional Client Coverage HSBC, responsible for the strategy and risk of institutional clients for North America and previously a Managing Director of Credit Suisse Prime Services

For over 25 years James has advised and financed the largest alternative managers and supported numerous start-ups in the American, European and Asian markets

​

His career has included the majority of asset classes in both Public and Private markets, including the growth of private credit and real estate

Harry Philpot

ASSOCIATE

Harry joined Soller in 2019 having been involved in the property industry since 2015. He has had roles working as an asset manager for Midlands-based private student housing developer, account manager for a pan-European commercial marketplace proptech, and has advised on land acquisitions and sales in the UK. As an associate at Soller, he brings with him a wide network and diverse market knowledge

 

Harry is responsible for underwriting, supporting capital market transactions deal analysis and strategy

Malcolm Pearson

CONSULTANT & HEAD OF SCOTLAND

Malcolm has over 25 years of property experience working with GVA, CBRE, and First Pacific Davies, prior to setting up his own practice in 2014. He has broad experience having worked with the majority of property asset classes in both consultancy and agency capacities. He also has international market experience having worked in London and Hong Kong.

Malcolm has been closely involved in urban regeneration projects since 2008, providing agency and development services to both public and private sector landowners and developers. He has a proven track record in delivering development opportunities and is actively involved with Soller in the student, office, hotel and residential sectors
